HMS FITNESS COURSE NOW OPEN
Humble Middle School has a new student fitness course. The new course, inspired by the obstacle challenges seen on “American Ninja Warrior,” includes several custom-designed elements. These features include a rotating overhead traverse climber, a treetop traverse, a vertical rope wall, vertical sky wheels, a vertical wall climb with panels displaying the Humble Middle School Wildcat logo, and a time stop button at the top. It is open to the public when school is not in session.

HUMBLE ISD HOSTING TEXAS SUCCESS INITIATIVE ASSESSMENT 2.0 (TSIA2)
Humble ISD is hosting opportunities to take the Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) at different campuses across the district at no charge. These opportunities are being offered as a convenience to families of students who will be taking college-level classes now or in the future. Each testing site has a limited number of spots.
The next available testing date is Saturday, September 28, at Atascocita High School. Limited spots available: Register for the 9/28 TSIA2

KPHS THEATRE PRESENTS SING-OH-BINGO, SEPT 21
Kingwood Park Black Cat Theatre Booster is hosting Sing-Oh Bingo on Saturday, September 21, at the KPHS cafeteria. Doors open at 1 p.m. and the first game will begin at 2 p.m.

SUICIDE AWARENESS
Wednesday, September 25: WEBINAR Mental health and suicide can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or background. In this workshop, we will raise awareness of mental health crises and suicidal thoughts. In this presentation, you will learn to identify the warning signs, risks, and protective factors of suicide and become familiar with resources and strategies to help students at risk for suicide. This webinar will be presented by Maria Ingram and Marcy Wilson, both Counselors from the Humble ISD Counseling and Behavior Services Department. Register for this Zoom Webinar: 11 a.m. to noon
HHS THEATRE PRESENTS THE SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS, SEPT 26-28
Humble Wildcat Theatre presents The Servant of Two Masters September 26 through 28 at the HHS PAC. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and can be purchased at www.hhstheatre.com.

FUTURE STARLETTE DANCE CLINIC, SEPT 28
Come join the Summer Creek Starlettes for a youth dance clinic for ages 5 to 15 from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 28 at Summer Creek High school. Clinic participants will be part of the halftime performance at the October 4 football game at Turner Stadium. Presale cost is $50 for each participant and includes a snack, shirt and game ticket for performer.
KINGWOOD FILLIE DANCE CLINIC, SEPT 28
Come join the award-winning Kingwood Fillies for a fun day of dance from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, at Kingwood High school. Registration for each participant includes lunch, one snack item, and a clinic t-shirt. Register online at kingwoodfillies.net by September 18 to guarantee t-shirt size.
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT, OCT 1
The Humble ISD Police Department invites families to an interactive evening full of fun, engaging activities for the community! National Night Out is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, at the Humble ISD Police Emergency Operations Center at 1911 Wilson Road in Humble. There will be Police Department and Vehicle tours, Face Painting, Bingo and more.
HUMBLE ISD COLLEGE NIGHT, OCT 1
Humble ISD College Night 2024, sponsored by the City of Humble, is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, at the Humble Civic Center, located at 8233 Will Clayton Parkway.

Join us for a spooky good time for a one and only CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification training put on by author and educator, Scott Ford, M.Ed. this school year. During October Break you can get your geek on and learn about the basics of IT and prepare for a professional-level IT certification, the CompTIA ITF+ certification. This free 5-day training is open to ALL Humble ISD high school and middle school students, staff/faculty, parents/guardians, and community members.

FUTURE WILDCATDET DANCE CLINIC, OCT 19
Come join the Humble Wildcatdets for a youth dance clinic for ages 4 to 13 from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 19, at Humble High school. Clinic participants will be part of the halftime performance at the October 26 HHS vs SCHS football game. Registration is $50 for each participant and includes performance shirt, pizza, a drink and participant entry to the game.
SILVER STAR YOUTH DANCE CLINIC, OCT 19
Come join the award-winning Kingwood Park Silver Stars for a youth dance clinic for ages 4 to 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, at Kingwood Park High school. Clinic participants will be part of the halftime performance at the October 24 varsity football game. Registration includes shirt, photo with mascot and participant entry to the game.
INSPIRING MOMENTS: CONVOCATION 2024
Hurricane Beryl threw a wrench into our schedules, which meant Humble ISD had to rethink our plans for Convocation. Humble ISD decided to postpone it for a few weeks and host sessions at each campus instead and Convocation 2024 was a fantastic success! In September's “Inspiring Moment,” we take a look at Convocation on the road! Watch this month's Inspiring Moments performance.
Texas law now requires school districts to distribute information to parents and guardians about the safe storage of firearms. This information will help you learn about options for safe storage of firearms and how to talk to your child and others about it. humbleisd.net/firearmsafety.
