Attendance
The instruction and learning that occur on a daily basis in the classroom is our central mission. Parents who make regular school attendance and punctuality a high priority are helping their children learn to accept responsibility, which is an important lesson for a successful life.
As we work to increase Vogel Intermediate’s daily attendance – please continue to support your child’s educational process by limiting the amount of school missed except for illness. Vogel Intermediate daily goal is 98%.
Clinic News from Nurse Coyne
It is Flu Season!
Flu shots help reduce your chance of getting the flu, and also lessen the severity of your symptoms if you were to get sick with the Flu. As always, the best way to prevent illness is by washing your hands! Frequently wash your hands and work to avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.

Parent Access Changes
Did you know that Parent Access Center (PAC) is different this year? You now need to make a Parent Portal Account, and you can access many of the features your students have in their SSO.
We need all of our families to log into their PAC accounts by clicking the link below, and electronically sign your child's progress report. You can get to PAC through your parent portal. We currently have over 500 students with parents who have not signed their PAC acknowledgements online. We are hoping to have 100% of parents log into their PAC accounts over the weekend!

Keep 'Em Safe Texas Initiative
Safe gun storage is critical to preventing unintentional shootings, suicide, and other tragedies. Learn more about the Keep ‘Em Safe Texas initiative and view resources at the provided link. Gun locks are also available through the Conroe ISD Police Department.
PowerSchool
The only way we know your most updated phone numbers, email address, emergency contacts, and people that may pick up your child is to complete the PowerSchool (formerly InfoSnap) returning student registration. This process does away with filling out multiple forms on the first day of school.
Your student's PowerSchool code and website link will be sent to you via email in July, and the email subject is normally titled "Conroe Independent School District - Verification of Student Registration Directions for (Student Name)."
School Messenger
All SMS messages received from the Conroe ISD District Office and your child's campus will begin with "Conroe ISD:" and come from the subscribe code 67587. If you have not yet opted-in to receive SMS messages, you can do so at any time throughout the school year by texting "Y" to 67587.
