Boys & Girls team information page to help make sure you know where practices & meets are! We are excited to have a regular season again and hope you can join us! This is a great sport to get involved with for fun and for competition. The most important part of the Bowling Team is being there for your team. A team consist of 10 Boys & 10 Girls. The top scores participate in matches. We only take 6 Bowlers on match days. When we only have 3 or 4 participate, it hurts our scoring.

No Physical & Permission Forms, no Bowling.

If you have not submitted your Sports Physical, you will not be assigned a lane once the season starts! You must have a Sports Physical Submitted to be considered for the "Bowling Team".

As of the 2024-2025 School Year, all forms must be submitted by a parent on Final Forms

Matches start at 3:30.

First Round names are added at 3:10. If you are not there in time, you run the risk of not being able to play until the 2nd or 3rd game.

Our 2 locations for games is Tusculum Lanes & Smyrna Bowling. Location will be listed by game time.

If it is a COED match, only the boys team plays.

This is a tentative schedule, using the games played during last year's season, so you can see what the schedule could look like.

Matches are typically twice a week with one day of practice. This will be updated with actual current dates as soon as games have been confirmed with the bowling alleys.

As a team we want to make sure that we are in compliance with all TSSAA Rules for Bowling. Here is a highlight of rules to help make sure everyone is successful and no one gets a rules violation that could cost of points on a match.

• No Outside Food or Drink (Bowling Alley Rule, don't bring in your Zaxby's, buy your snacks from the snack bar)
• No Food or Drinks at lanes/tables. Eat prior to your match, or leave your grub with coaches on back line (Where me & Coach Harris usually sit) TSSAA RULE
• No Phoney Bowlers. No airpods or phones are allowed at the lanes or the tables closest to the lanes. TSSAA RULE
• No practice lanes while the team is in match play. TSSAA RULE
• All competitors shall remain in the seating and playing area of their assigned pair of lanes while competition is in progress. Non-competitors and spectators may not be in the area. TSSAA RULE
  

American Ten Pin & Bakers Rules will be the two formats we are using to play. Watch the video below to get familiar with how it will look.

The 1st & 2nd match you will play a full 10 frames so you can get an individual score.

Then it will be followed by 2 Baker's matches which is a team competition style where the team of 5 play through 10 frames together (2 frames per teammate). If a team only has 4 players playing, then zeros would be marked for the missing teammate. Reasons it will be important that we have 5 players bowling.
