A Note From Your Principal

We have wrapped up our 2023-24 school year and are kicking off our Epic Summer Camp! We have lots of fun planned for all! Please refer to this newsletter throughout the summer for all planned activities, outside of your classroom lesson plan.

Splash Days

Water play days are an exciting part of our summer camp experience and we can’t wait for your child to participate! Check out your specific camp calendar for designated water days.

Children should come to school in their swimsuits and bring a towel and a change of dry clothes. For the safety of your child, open-toe shoes are not permitted at school. Please apply sunscreen prior to arrival, teachers will re-apply for afternoon recess.

*Note swim diapers are not necessary as children will not be submerged in water.

Illness/Vacation Absences

Please use the Links2Home App to mark your child absent if they are not attending RSG for the day or before/after care. Parents may also email, message in links2home, or call the school for absences as well.

July 11 - Teddy Bear Picnic *bring your favorite stuffy and enjoy afternoon snack outside

July 16 - Share Snack Day *Bring in a small Ziploc bag of your favorite snack to create a class trail mix *NO NUTS*

July 24 - Sticker Friends *Bring in a sheet of stickers to share with friends

July 26 - Messy Day! Dress to make a mess!

School-Age Before/After Care Information

Before/After Care will resume for registered New Albany ELC and Primary School students the week of 8/19. If you are unsure of your registration status, please reach out to administration.

Family Referral Bonus

Do you know a colleague who has recently had a baby, a friend in need of care who just relocated to the area, or a family member who is seeking a new preschool for their child? When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!
