Dental Care at Heights Wellness Center

Starting April 23, students can receive dental care, including exams, cleanings, sealants, and fluoride applications, at the Heights Wellness Center at Heights High School. View the flyer for more information and upcoming dates. Enrollment form

Intradistrict Open Enrollment

The District is accepting applications for Intradistrict Open Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year through April 12. Applicants will be notified of the decision via mail by May 10. Applications are reviewed using the criteria listed here.

SPED Survey

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has launched a survey to learn more about families' involvement in the education of their children with disabilities. You may be eligible to participate if your child has an IEP and receives special education services.

• On Thursday, April 25, Heights seniors will attend a Jobs & Trades Fair with their English classes. The Jobs & Trades Fair will offer students an opportunity to learn about current job openings, trades, and apprenticeships. Student can ask questions to professionals, learn about required training and networking for their career choices.
  

• Registration is now open for the 2024 Reaching Heights Summer Music Camp, June 10-15. Instrumental musicians in grades 6-8 are eligible for this opportunity to make wonderful music and memories. More
• The Steak Club Foundation, in partnership with The Pack Shack, are seeking volunteers to help create 50,000 shelf stable meals for local nonprofits feeding the hungry and homeless. The "Feed the Funnel Party" is May 24 at Coventry Peace Park. Register here.
• Run like it's recess at the annual Heights Tiger 5K and Fun Run on May 18. Proceeds benefit all CH-UH District schools. Registration and details

If your child is in need of social and/or emotional support, please complete the referral form located in the Quick Links section of their school's page on CHUH.org. Anyone can complete this referral form, and submissions are routed directly to the school social worker and counselors for follow-up.

Our “see something, say something” policy applies to our school community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Anyone can access the Safe School Helpline to report threats, bullying, or other such behavior. Call 1-800-4-1-VOICE (1-800-418-6423) ext. 359 to leave your information, or submit a report online.

The District has adopted a plan for communications with persons with disabilities, which is available here. The plan establishes procedures to ensure that the District's communications with persons with disabilities, including applicants, participants, members of the public, and companions with disabilities, are as effective as its communications with others.
