Distance Learning Challenge!
Looking for something to do over winter break? You can work on your distance learning!
You can earn a FREE refurbished Windows laptop computer . . .
if you study 150 hours or more on a distance learning platform from October 1 to January 31.
Distance Learning platforms you can use:
MyEnglishLab, ReadTheory, CommonLit, Edmentum, Burlington English,
Khan Academy, MobyMax, Duolingo, Read Works, USA Learns
Vocab A-Z, NorthStar, Paraeducator, Coursera, CareerSafe
The hours from all platforms will be combined for your total hours. Hubbs Distance Learning
staff will keep track of the hours and notify you in February if you’ve won a laptop. You can
also see your distance learning hours in the Student Portal. Distance Learning hours are
entered into the portal at the end of every month.
If you have any requests or questions about your distance learning platforms, you can contact
your teacher or Jessica Ess (Jessica.ess@spps.org / 612-405-3636).
