Muraski Memo
End of the Week - May 3rd
Please remember to VOTE on Tuesday, May 7
As you may know, Strongsville City Schools has a 5.9 mill, 5-year limited operating levy on the May 7th ballot - Issue 4. The passage of Issue 4 will provide our District with financial stability through the 2026-2027 school year.
Please remember to VOTE on Tuesday, May 7
Issue 4 will preserve many opportunities, allowing our students to grow and develop in learning environments that are competitive and challenging. These opportunities, both inside and outside of the classroom, will help prepare our students for future success.
Please visit www.strongnet.org/Issue4 for important information about this operating levy and the financial impact on our District.
One more BIG day in May!
HEADPHONES ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED FOR THE UPCOMING TESTS
Math - Grades 3-5 --May 6 and 7
The testing process will begin each day at 9:15 a.m. Please do your best to make sure your children are present and on time for school. Thank you for your help to ensure your children are well rested and given breakfast so they are most prepared to show what they know.
If you are interested in seeing the types of questions your child would see on the AIR test, please visit the ODE Students and Family Page linked here.
CONGRATULATIONS TO Mrs. Koestner: STRONGSVILLE OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR AWARD & DISTRICT 12 PTA OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR AWARD
The CARNIVAL is coming to MURASKI
Step right up! Step right up! The Muraski Carnival is right around the corner, and we need you! Please consider volunteering to help make this event happen! We need volunteers for set up, running the stands, prize redemption, serving food and clean up.
We will have middle and high school student volunteers as well, so no one working at the carnival will be stuck and a booth the whole time.
Volunteers are needed from 3 to 8:30 p.m., so there are many times to help.
Those volunteering for set up should arrive by 3 p.m.
Anyone volunteering for games or food should arrive by 4:30 p.m.
Ticket counters and prize redemption should arrive by 5 p.m.
Clean-up should go quickly. Volunteers should be done no later than 8:45 p.m.
Please visit the link below to sign up!https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0B4CA5A622A46-muraski3
Our carnival would not be complete without a Bake Walk, so we need some bakers! These don't need to be Pinterest-worthy, just tasty treats for the kids to win. And no one is limited to cake! An 8x8 pan of Brownies; six cupcakes; a full cake; pie; rice krispie treats -- whatever you would like to donate. We will need a lot, which is why I suggest a small pan of brownies or just six cupcakes per package (one box of cake mix makes 24 cupcakes, so you would be able to donate four "cakes," which would be a big help! Remember whatever you bring your treats in goes home with the students, so think disposable! Items can be store bought as well.
I would like to have everything dropped off to the school between 2:30 and 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28.
Please use the link below to sign up!
Another Night of BINGO enjoyed by ALL!
