Welcome to the 2024-25 School Year!

Thank you for choosing to send your children to our schools. We understand you have a choice, and we are committed to providing your children with a quality education you can trust.

Our team has been working hard to address our focus on increasing academic achievement to meet our mission of having all students graduate from high school and college, and/or are career-ready. We will also focus on the safety and well-being of our students and staff.

Commitment to Excellence

As your superintendent and a parent who has raised two amazing children, one of whom graduated from Casa Grande Union High School, I base my analysis and evaluation of district operations on a simple question, "Would this school system meet my expectations for my child?" If it's not good enough for my child, it's not good enough for your child either. I am here to serve you, so please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of any assistance.

As mentioned above, we are focused on school safety and one of the safety enhancements this year is a weapon detection system at all three campuses. Effective Wednesday, July 31, our sixth day of school, all students and guests will need to walk through the detection system before entering campus. More information will be communicated to families before July 31.

A second safety enhancement is random drug testing of our athletes. Our updated expectations for athletes will be discussed at an upcoming meeting for athletes, parents, and guardians.

We hope you have a successful start to the school year. The first day is Wednesday, July 24, which will be an early release day.
