CAMPUS ANNOUNCEMENTS
BRONCO CABARET - MAY 20 AND 21
RBHS Choir presents “Bronco Cabaret” on May 20 and 21 at 7:00 pm in the PAC with performances by RBHS Madrigals, RBHS Concert Choir, and featuring RBHS Advanced Drama and BHMS Advanced Choir. Tickets available at the door and online at www.rbbroncoplayers.ludus.com. General admission is $10.00.
COLORGUARD WORKSHOPS/AUDITIONS MAY 20 - 21
The RBHS Colorguard workshops and auditions for students interested in joining the RBCG will be held on May 20 and 21 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm in the MRH. Any student is welcome; no prior experience is needed. All equipment and training will be provided at the workshops. Please contact Mr. Christy with any questions at zchristy@powayusd.com.
CELEBRATE ASSEMBLY FOR STUDENTS - MAY 23
We will have a special bell schedule on May 23 for our Celebrate Assembly. Please see below. *As we are a closed campus, a reminder that the Celebrate Assembly is for students only.
ADVANCED CHOIRS AUDITIONS - MAY 24
Auditions for the advanced choirs for the 2024-25 school year will take place on Friday, May 24 at 4:00 pm in the Choir Room. All auditioning students should prepare to sing the Darmon Meader arrangement of The Star-Spangled Banner. Sheet music and other resources are available on google classroom. Please join our google classroom page with code: p7gapb7 for more information and audition materials. There will be two lunch time practice sessions in the choir room on May 23 and May 24. If you have questions, please contact Mr. McLaughlin at jmclaughlin@powayusd.com.
The advanced choirs will be traveling to an exciting destination to participate in a major event in the spring of 2025. If you are interested in singing, competing, making new friends, and travel, choir may be the place for you!
ORCHESTRA SPRING CONCERT - MAY 24
The Orchestra Spring Concert will be on May 24 at 7:00 pm at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are FREE. Please CLICK HERE to reserve your tickets.

BAND SPRING CONCERT - MAY 31
The Band Spring concert will be May 31 at 7:00 pm at the California Center for the Performing Arts in Escondido. Tickets are $14 and may be purchased at the door.
FINALS SCHEDULE - JUNE 5 - 6
*Alternate Schedule June 5 - We will have an alternate finals schedule for Wednesday, June 5 to accommodate the late start schedule, and will have our typical finals schedule on Thursday, June 6. Students do not have to remain on campus for Bronco Time. During this time, students who choose to remain on campus will have opportunities to go to the MPR to study or LPR for an activity supervised by campus security. Please see Finals schedules below.

Ticket Swaps
We understand that schedules change and playoff games, band shows, college visits, etc. suddenly pop up on the calendar in this busy end-of-year period. We are happy to accommodate ticket swaps for Grad Night events where possible. Please contact rbhs.seniors.2024@gmail.com before initiating a ticket swap for procedures on how this transfer can proceed smoothly. Please note the last day to submit a ticket swap is Monday, May 20 as we need to finalize details of Grad Night events.
Disney and Party Pals
Disney California Adventure Park (May 31) and Party Pals (June 5) Grad Night info has been emailed to those who have secured and paid for a ticket. If you did not receive an email, please email RBHS.seniors.2024@gmail.com and let us know. Communication includes details of arrival time, departure time, what to bring, what not to bring, policies and expectations and guest courtesy and attire.
Senior Walk
Registration for the Senior Walk at participating elementary schools is ongoing. We have over 240 Seniors already registered! Make sure your Senior has the opportunity to go back to where it all started and receive one more round of well-deserved applause! Registration is required and will close on May 31. 2024-25 Positions Still Open!
The RBHS PTSA would like to be able to continue our offerings of support and celebration to students and staff, so please consider filling a position. Membership is not limited to parents and students. You can be an uncle, aunt, grandparent, cousin, etc. to be a PTSA member. Time commitment, should you wish to volunteer, is minimal, and there are current board members who can provide guidance and mentoring. If you are interested in any of the open positions, please email ptsa.rbhs@gmail.com.

RBHS FOUNDATION
The RBHS Foundation works in partnership with students, administration, staff, teachers, and parents to identify needs and projects that benefit all RBHS students, in addition to providing financial services for numerous clubs, organizations, and sports.
We are pleased to kick off the 2023-24 school year with the following:
- We celebrated five new inductees to our Hall of Fame on September 14 -15, 2023. For a great article about the distinguished alumni and staff in this year’s honor class, click HERE.
- Bronco Bricks are for sale all year long! Memorialize your time with RB by purchasing a brick which will be installed in our brick and butterfly garden, located in front of the LPR by the large quad. Click HERE to view/purchase.
- Please consider a donation to the Foundation. We have plans to sponsor exciting additions to the large and small quads in the form of outdoor games and seating (your students may have already enjoyed the umbrellas purchased last year!), and other projects in the stadium and around campus. - Join us at a monthly meeting for more information on upcoming projects and opportunities, and to join the conversation! We meet on the third Monday of each month in room E-13.

Buy a Bronco Card in the Finance Office and at Home Football Games for just $100! Bronco Cards are valid all year and include entrance to every Non-CIF Playoff home game across all sports. Students will also receive a community discount card, free RBHS tee shirt and sweatshirt (while supplies last) and receive $10 discounts off both Prom & Homecoming tickets as well! Bronco Cards are non-transferable and are linked to Students via their Student ID. Purchases can be made at the Finance Office during Break and Lunch daily with cash, check, credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
