Family Series Winter Challenge 📘📙📗
We are excited to announce our fall 2023 Family Series Winter Challenge. Our theme is “Let It Snow." Gifted students can select from three different challenges related to the winter theme. For more detailed information about the Challenge, please see the flyer posted on the Family Series web page by clicking the link below!

GT Family Game Day 📘📙📗
We are excited to host another “Game Day” event for families of gifted students on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. GT students are invited to connect and engage with their like-minded peers by playing a variety of board games. This event will be held at the Fort Bend County Libraries University Branch located at 14010 University Blvd., Sugar Land, TX 77479. Families are asked to bring one board game of choice to ensure there are a variety of games. All interested families should CLICK HERE to register for this event! More detailed information will be emailed to the registered participants. Please note that this is not a chaperoned event and children may not be dropped off by parents. Thank you!

TPSP in FBISD 📘📙📗
As we move into December, campuses will be finalizing the dates and committees for the campus showcase. Students will continue working on their project research and planning their final products. Be on the lookout for campus-specific information and dates related to the spring showcase on the Gifted and Talented website.

Innovation Hour 📘📙
For our twenty-one campuses that engaged in the Innovation Hour pilot, we will continue to provide support through campus walks and open labs. Our students are extremely excited to share their projects and share the rationale behind their projects. The creative and innovative ideas that are rising to the forefront demonstrate that students are taking the lead in the development of their products.

GT Learning Plan 📘📙📗
GT students are still striving to meet their academic and social and emotional learning objectives for the year. Students will go over their goals in January in order to make sure they know what to do next and to make any required changes to reach their objectives. Please encourage your students by discussing their goals and reminding them that achieving goals is often a dynamic process, and adjustments may be necessary along the way.
Class of 2025 GT Mentorship Information Meetings 📗
GT Mentorship Information Meetings for the class of 2025 will be held on each high school campus during the month of January 2024. Campus COGS, GT Counselor, and GT Administrator will notify all GT-identified juniors of the date, time, and location for the meeting. Two virtual parent information meetings will also be held. Please see the meeting calendar for all dates and times.
