Information about New Bus Routing System
Roseville Area Schools has implemented a new transportation routing system to improve the efficiency of our bus schedules for picking up and dropping off students. While this system is designed to enhance our transportation services, we ask for your patience as we address and resolve any initial issues. If you need to request a change to a bus stop or if you no longer require transportation services, please email us at transportation@isd623.org or call us at 651-635-1638. Please be prepared to provide the following information:
- Student Name
- Student ID
- Reason for the request (for example, relocation, change in transportation needs)
Please note that we are processing requests as quickly as possible; however, any changes to existing bus stops will not take effect until after the first week of school. You will receive updates and information about any changes via email, so please ensure that your contact details are current. This includes verifying that your most recent telephone number and email address are on file to ensure you receive all necessary communications promptly.
The safety of our students is our highest priority, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this transition. Thank you for your patience.

New Dismissal Plan - Pikmykid
Hello Families,
In our ongoing efforts to enhance your children’s safety, we have decided to begin using the PikMyKid Dismissal Application. Throughout the country, it has been proven to simplify dismissal, reduce traffic congestion, and most importantly, improve overall safety. The unique features of PikMyKid allow you to easily change pick up modes, quickly delegate to an alternate individual for pickup, change to an ‘After School’ program, and schedule for future pickup mode. This will replace Pick Up patrol. Pikmykid app allows you to be in full control of your child’s dismissal and it gives us, the school, complete information regarding dismissal and the ability to acknowledge every change and to instantly check your child’s dismissal status should you have a question. We are very excited about this addition and know you will be too. Check your emails over the next week for additional information and we will be on our way to a safer, quicker, and more efficient dismissal process. To Learn a little more on your own, please check out the following link that will show you a few of the PikMyKid features. https://www.pikmykid.com/features/forparents/
Please download the app, click the link below.
Kind Regards,
Principal Kristen

If not returning to us this September 2024. Fill out a Not Returning Google form or Email studentrecords@isd623.org Let us know what school your student just attended for 23-24 and their first and last name. Also, let us know where they would be going for Fall 2024. This will help us close out their enrollment record.
Safety - Standard Response Protocol (SRP)
The premise is simple: there are five specific actions (listed above) that can be performed during an incident. When communicating these actions, each is followed by a "Directive." Execution of the action is performed by active participants, including students, staff, teachers and first responders.
Benefits - The benefits of the SRP become quickly apparent. Standardized vocabulary for clear understanding, continuity for students, simplified training for teachers, predictability for first responders, easy parental understanding, rapid response determination, and a predictable series of actions during emergencies.
Throughout the year we will be going through different drills covering these 5 Core Actions.
