Spring Music Concert
Last Thursday night, Mr. Wagner and our music students shared a wonderful night of performances. The students have been working hard all year and made so much growth with their instruments and voices. Congratulations to all!
Knowledge Bowl
On Tuesday, May 21, ten Scott students proudly represented Coatesville at the Chester County Knowledge Bowl hosted by the CCIU under the leadership of their coach, Miss Kaptur. These exceptionally bright students worked together in teams to answer trivia questions from a wide variety of fields including math, science, history, geography, music, language, and more. The team "Mathematical Masters" consisting of Ian Porter, Paul Carpenter, Julia Russo, Zoe Everitt, and Katie Scheivert earned very strong scores, and were among the top three teams moving into the final round of the competition, ultimately placing sixth. The team "According to my Calculations" consisting of Jacob Morales, Cameron Schwenk, Mark Moles, Mia Hand, and Jena Trexler also put forth an impressive effort. Individually, Mark Moles and Julia Russo were recognized for being amongst the top scoring alternates countywide in the written round. Congratulations to all for the knowledge, effort, teamwork and respect they showed at this event!
