Students in grades K-5 will take the i-Ready assessments in Reading & Math this week. There will be a session starting every morning! Please encourage your children to take their time and give their best effort. It's a great time to show off all that they have learned this school year.

Students reviewed their i-Ready goals with their teaccher last week. Each student has a Target Growth goal and a Stretch Growth goal. Talk to your student about the goals they have set. Each student who achieves the Target Growth goal gets to visit the book vending maching. Each student who achieves the Stretch Growth goal gets to come to a SLIME making session.

Here are some tips to ensure your child does his/her best...

• Get to bed EARLY! Students need to be well rested.
• Students need to ARRIVE ON TIME!
• EAT a healthy breakfast at home or school! (arrive early to eat & get to class by 7:45)
• Encourage students to TAKE their TIME! This is not a timed test.
• Encourage students to use scratch paper & on-line tools.
