We are excited to announce our Quarter Two options for Experiential Learning! These courses will run from November 20th - January 22. Our options include:

Wellness, Self-Regulation, and Mindfulness

Content Creation

Leisure and Healthy Living

Strategic Board Gaming

Forensic Science

Model Building

Volleyball

Giving Back to the Community

Talk to your student about their Experiential Learning experience in the upcoming weeks. Ask how quarter one went, what did they learn, why did they choose the option they did for quarter two.

CHS students were provided the opportunity to attend A Christmas Carol at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. Over 30 students attended on Tuesday, November 19. This was a great opportunity for students to experience the theater!

CHS, in partnership with South Central College and Project Success, will be offering a free CNA program to students. This will be an Experiential Learning option for 3rd and 4th quarter. Students will be awarded high school and college credit once the program is completed. Transportation will be provided by CHS. See the flyer for more information.

With winter just around the corner students are often in need of warmer clothing. CHS has jackets, hats, and gloves available for students. If your student is interested, direct them to our Social Worker, Kerrigan.
