Cascadia Tech News
November/December 2022
From Our Director
As we head towards winter break, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has helped the first semester be a great one. From staff, students, parents and community partners, I appreciate you all.
Our school businesses are back up and running and students are doing great. Our culinary department has been busy hosting events; the dental clinic is able to help uninsured patients with their dental needs; electronics donations are currently being accepted, with the annual e-waste event in March; and the cosmetology salon is operating and taking new clients. We are very excited for our students to serve the community.
Cascadia Tech staff are all working hard to ensure our students are college and career ready, with industry certifications in hand, by June. It is our mission to encourage and support student success in each program. Enjoy this edition of our newsletter and happy holidays!
We are doing great things!

New Student Run Business
Students in Business Principles are currently coordinating with different vendors to find screen printing companies for the class "fun shirts" and business attire for the student run business. The end goal is to have Cascadia Tech printed merchandise available for all staff, students and the public to purchase.
Discussing the Business Principles logo on a sample sweatshirt is one way the students are gathering information that will help the department in charge of the student run business make the right branding decisions for the class.
