Late Start
Just a reminder that Wednesday, April 2nd is a District Late Start day. School begins 2 1/2 hours later than normal. Buses run 2 1/2 hours later than their morning pick up time. Students may arrive on campus at 10:45AM. The first bell will ring at 10:50AM and the late bell will ring at 10:55AM. Breakfast will not be served. Preschool will have a normal start to their school day.
Art Club with Mrs. Warren
Get ready to create, imagine, and have fun in Mrs. Warren’s Art Club! Open to students in grades K-5, this exciting after-school club is your chance to dive into jewelry making, clay, painting, and so much more. Whether you love to get messy with paint or design your own masterpieces, there's something for every young artist. CMAS Testing
Beginning Tuesday, April 8th, our students in 3rd-5th grades will take the CMAS assessments in Language Arts and Math. In addition, 4th grade students will take assessments in the area of Social Studies and 5th grade students will take assessments in the area of Science. The testing window runs from April 8th-25th.
We ask that you avoid making appointments or having your student out of school on the days listed below. Please note that if a student misses a testing session he/she will have to make the session up on a different day.

During state testing, technology such as cell phones, Apple watches, bluetooth headphones, etc. will be collected and stored in the office as they are not allowed in testing locations. Please encourage your child to leave these items at home if possible.
Students will be using their iPads to test this year. Please ensure that your student comes to school with a FULLY CHARGED iPad every day.

Chess Enrichment Class Cost Update
Please note that the correct cost for the Chess Enrichment class is $80, not $50 as previously mentioned. We apologize for the error and appreciate your understanding!
Boulder Children’s Chorale
Longmont Estates students and families are invited to Boulder Children’s Chorale's final performance of the school year on April 26th, 3:00 pm at Lyons Middle Senior High School! The choirs will be performing favorite songs from our 15-year history and will finish the concert with an inspirational brand new work that was created for us from the words of our students and other students around the area, which will be performed with Greater Boulder Youth Orchestra. The concert will only last about an hour.

2025-2026 Classroom Placement Questionnaire
LEE teachers will be getting together toward the beginning of May by grade level to place students in next year’s classes. Click here for an optional questionnaire that can be used to help teachers in placing your child next school year. Paper copies will also be coming home next week in Thursday folders. If you choose to fill it out, please have it back to school by Friday, April 18th.
Unframed Art Show
St. Vrain Valley Schools is hosting its annual art show at the Boulder County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall. Community members are invited to view student art from all grade levels and schools across the district from April 15-20.
The event is free and open to the public:
- Public Viewing: April 15-19 | 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. and April 20 | 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
- Artists’ Night Open House: April 17 | 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Please join us in celebrating our students’ talent, hard work, and dedication. Different mediums will be featured including digital art/photography, ceramics, metal work, jewelry making, and painting.
