Pledge to Be Safe at Work Winner!
GOLDEN SAFETY CONE AWARD
The Golden Safety Cone Award is to recognize employees in our District who have demonstrated excellence when it comes to safety. Each building has their own Golden Cone. Anyone can make a nomination, so if you see someone being SAFE, please nominate them! Nominations can be sent to the Safety Cone Ambassador at each building. Please contact your building safety committee for more information.

Terri Wheelock - Riverside Elementary
Terri Wheelock is Riverside's 1st Golden Safety Cone winner! She shows positive safety behaviors in the building. She was seen going to get a ladder in order to hang a sign safely. Thank you to Terri for following our safety rules!
Socorro Melendrez - North Middle
Socorro Melendrez, ESL Instructional Assistant, is the February NMS Safety Award Winner!! Socorro is constantly picking up garbage at breakfast, lunch and in the hallway to make the students and staff safe at NMS!!
