Dear Parents of Julian Curtiss,

We are thrilled to share the joyous news that Mrs. Colleen Mastroianni and Mrs. Caryn Horan are both anticipating new additions to their families this coming Fall. Let's extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to them as they embark on this journey of growing their families. Our Eagle's nest is indeed expanding!

As we approach the end of the school year, it's remarkable to realize that our students have only seven days left. Time flies! The fifth graders will be Ringing Out on Friday, June 14th, and our final day of school is Tuesday, June 18th, which will be an Early Release Day. Below, please find the closing dates for after-school care programs:

• YWCA: Last day is June 14th
• Family First: Last day is June 17th
• YMCA: June 18th - Early pickup at 12:45 pm for Early Release
• B&G Club: June 18th - Early pickup at 12:45 pm for Early Release

Summer School Registration is Closing Soon!
Registration for summer school will close next Friday, June 7. To register, head to our web pages dedicated to summer school. Those students invited to attend for literacy and math support do not pay a fee. If you have any questions, please email our summer school team.

Department of Human Services Fund
The Greenwich Department of Human Services Fund (GDHS Fund) is stepping up to ensure local children have proper footwear with their upcoming "Boots & Shoes" fundraiser. This initiative aims to raise funds to provide DSW gift cards to children between the ages of 5-15 from low-income families. These gift cards will be redeemable online and in store at any DSW location, allowing children to choose shoes that fit their needs and style. Gift cards will be distributed in August 2024, prior to the new school year. To donate, head to their website or read their flyer for more details.

Digital Library for K-5 Students
We are so excited to announce that all GPS K-5 students in the district will have access to a 40,000+ book/audiobook/read-to-me digital library during the summer, with no limitations on time or number of books to read, through a platform called Epic. Epic is a digital reading platform that safely fuels curiosity and reading confidence for kids 12 and under. Your school principal will be supplying you with a class code in the coming day to gain access.
