Hello FPSD Students,
I hope you're doing well! Our FPSD Native American Program students have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming Powwow on May 31st, and we need your help to make it a success.
We’re looking for volunteers to assist with setup, kitchen support, parking lot help, vendor assistance, and general support on the day of the event. This is a great opportunity for you to get involved, help out with the event, and gain valuable cultural experiences.
Please consider encouraging other students to participate as well—your support is greatly appreciated! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
Thank you for helping us make this event memorable!
📱 Digital Wellness for Teens
Edition #4: Our Updated Cell Phone Policy
Over the past few months, we’ve explored how phones can impact focus, sleep, and classroom engagement. In this edition, we’re introducing the updated cell phone policy that will go into effect at all
FPSD secondary schools next fall.
During class time, students will be expected to have their phones off or on silent and stored either in a designated area or their backpacks. This shift supports stronger learning and healthier peer connections.
If you ever need to reach your student during the school day, please call the main office—we’ll make sure your message gets to them.
📞 FPHS: 253-298-3800 | Gates: 253-298-4000 | WHS: 253-298-4700
Stay tuned for more strategies and resources as we continue supporting digital wellness at school and at home.
