GIRLS BASKETBALL: Good luck to the Girls Basketball team tonight at home against White Bear Lake. Tip-off is at 7:00 PM on Kauls Court. Finally, they travel to Forest Lake on Friday (2/14). Tip-off is at 7:00 PM. Hope to see you there! Go Mustangs! ALL-1N!
BOYS VOLLEYBALL: Boys volleyball is a new varsity sport this year! Open gyms start tonight and will be every Monday and Wednesday through Wednesday (3/5). Meet in the MAC from 8-10 PM. Any boy in grade 9-12 is welcome to come!
ROBOTICS: Team meetings this week include:

- Saturday (2/15) from 9-3 PM

BEST BUDDIES: See you tomorrow at our MVHS Best Buddies February event as we "Share the Love". Come for friendship bracelets, beading, and card making, and friendship too! Activities run from 6-7:30 PM in the MAC Classrooms. See you there!
WRESTLING: It’s Team Week! Wrestling team sections are Friday (2/14) at Roseville High School. Grab your valentine and come cheer on your Mustangs as they try to punch their ticket to State. Action starts with first round at 5:00 PM, Semi-finals at 6:15 PM and Finals at 7:45 PM. Go Mustangs!
GIRLS GOLF: The girls golf pre-season informational meeting is on Wednesday (2/19) at 4:00 PM in the Forum for those interested in playing golf this spring.
BOYS LACROSSE: Save the Date! Boys Lacrosse will be hosting “Back To Lacrosse Night” on Monday (2/24) at 7:00 PM in the Forum.
Winter Wonderland Dance
Join us for our annual winter dance on Saturday (2/22) from 8-11 PM. There will be a lot of fun activities coming up for our winter spirit week, top it off with an evening of dance and fun with friends.

- Hot Cocoa Bar - enjoy a hot chocolate with all the toppings!
- Smaller dance floor and more seating in the commons.

IF YOUR GUEST DOES NOT ATTEND MOUNDS VIEW HIGH SCHOOL:
- MV student should purchase the ticket for their guest using the same link.
- You MUST get a "guest form" from the main office. This needs to be filled out, approved by the guest's school and returned to Lori Diekoff in the main office by Friday (2/21).
No refunds for guest tickets (non MVHS students) if the guest form is not completed and turned in by the deadline.
Calling all musicians! Do you love to perform? Mounds View Choir is hosting 'MV Mic Night' with an Old Hollywood theme on Friday (2/21) at Peace United Methodist Church.
It's a beautiful and fun evening of music in order to raise money for MV Choirs! You can sing, play an instrument, and even perform with a friend! All musicians are welcome - you do not need to be in choir to participate!

The registration portal opens Monday (2/24). Spring sports first day of tryouts/practice are as follows:
- March 10: softball, boys track & field, girls track & field
- March 17: boys golf, girls golf, baseball, boys volleyball
- March 24: boys tennis
- March 31: boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse

Your child must have a valid sports physical on file prior to registering. Physicals are valid for three (3) years from the date of the exam. IF your child's physical expires during the season, you won't be able to register. Parents can check the current status of their child’s physical through their ParentVUE account by selecting the Student Info tab. The physical date is located at the bottom of the page.

Mounds View Irondale Hockey Foundation (www.mvihf.org) is offering $1000 scholarships for graduating seniors for past and current participants of the Mounds View Irondale Youth Hockey Association (MVIYHA) program attending Irondale, Mounds View, or St. Anthony High Schools. This scholarship will support a student’s post-secondary education in the form of tuition payment. For consideration, submit an essay explaining how you were impacted by playing youth hockey with the MVIYHA.
Scholarship recipient(s) will be selected by board members of the Foundation based on their submitted essay. Applications are due Saturday (3/8) by 8:00 AM to scholarship@mvihf.org, include subject line “MVIHF scholarship” for email.
