Happy March is Reading Month!
We are so excited to be engaged in “One Book, One School.” This awesome initiative is a month-long, school-wide celebration of being a community of readers. Each family should have received the book, The World According to Humphrey, and a letter explaining the project. If you have any questions, or did not receive the book, please contact your child’s teacher.
Did you know that Trimester Two is ending? Report cards will be viewable next Friday on Skyward. If you are unsure how to view the report card, or would like a paper copy sent home, please contact the office. If you have questions about your child’s performance, please contact your child’s teacher.
I am so proud of Davisburg students! They continue to amaze me with the growth they are making as learners and leaders. What an awesome opportunity I have to be part of their lives! Thank you for sharing your child with us every day!
Truly,
Denise Kott

Parent Outreach Program Newsletter
Good afternoon Holly Area Schools families,
We are excited to share our March Newsletter with you! This month, we explore the power of mindful parenting through Raising Good Humans, focusing on active listening as a way to strengthen family relationships. We also highlight career readiness strategies for teens, the importance of nutrition for adolescents, and how small habits can support mental wellness as we step into spring.
Additionally, International Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Week is this week - celebrating the ways SEL uplifts hearts and connects minds. We encourage you to check out our resources on emotional wellness, including how Care Solace can help families find mental health support.
We would love to connect with you at our upcoming events, including our Family Yoga class. Please check the event section of our newsletter for more details.
Thank you for being such an important part of our school community!
Best,
Trisha Crotteau, Cheryl Price, and Sydney Sinclair

Leader in Me & Core Competencies
The Leader in Me Section: Habit 6 Synergize
Synergizing means together is better. Synergy is achieved through two or more people working together to create a better solution than either would have thought of alone. It’s not your way or my way, but a better way. An important part of being able to synergize is the ability to value differences and diversity in thinking.
Ways to practice Synergy at home: Cook a meal together and assign everyone a job to do, work together to plan a fun afternoon that everyone can enjoy, or create/build something new.
