CSSE Families,

As you know, the opening of the PCTC portal was postponed. All families who submitted their information to the school should have received their Enrollment Verification in one parent/guardian email inbox. The portal will now open at 2pm on Wednesday, Dec. 6th. We know this is not a convenient time for most families, but it was dictated by the OTC. Due to the time of the portal opening, we will not be able to offer technical assistance. We anticipate and hope for a simple application of entering your own information (including AGI) and uploading the Enrollment Verification file, but in truth, we do not know what to expect either.

What we can do to help families is this - if you anticipate that you will need additional time to complete your application, we will keep your non-Aftercare student at school until 4pm on Dec. 6th without charging an additional fee. You will need to pick up your child by 4pm sharp, or they will then be sent to Aftercare with the applicable drop in fee applied. Details to come via ClassTag.

Picture retakes are scheduled for next Tuesday, Dec. 5th. If your student missed the last session, or is getting retakes, they may come to school on Tuesday in “dressy” free dress, and should have their original picture packet to return to the photographer.

The 7th grade boys and 8th grade boys basketball teams are headed to the Tulsa Tournament this weekend! If you get a chance, please come to a game and cheer them on to victory!

Next week we will have mass for the Immaculate Conception on Friday the 8th at 8:15am. Students should wear their mass uniform. We will not have school mass on Thursday the 7th, so students may wear normal uniform.

Join Fr. Jim and Principal Molly Goldsworthy on Thursday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. in the rectory to learn about the Tax Credit Scholarship program. This program allows donors to make a gift to help students at St. Eugene School and receive a wonderful state income tax credit for their gift. If you pay state income taxes and want to support Catholic education, this program is for you. Please RSVP.

Middle school teacher Aimee McCoy and husband Kellen welcomed baby Micah to the family earlier this past month! The whole family is thrilled, and Kindergarten aide Susie Rischard has another precious grandbaby to love!

School Sweatshirts - We have a limited supply of new Flynn O’Hara crewneck logo sweatshirts for purchase. These may be worn in the school building, but not to school mass. Available in Youth Small through Youth Large ($20) and Adult Small through XL ($24).

Art Club Monthly Saturday Sign Ups - Art Club will meet one Saturday a month from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the art room at CSSE. Art Club is open to 2nd-8th grade students. The fee is $75.00. Snacks will be provided, students should bring lunch. Each month will have themed projects, activities, and snacks. Click the link to sign up for December.

We invite our youth group, young adults, and digitally savvy parish volunteers to help with onboarding our St. Eugene parishioners onto the HALLOW App for Advent 2023!

We will provide detailed step-by-step instructions that you can follow along to assist fellow parishioners install the Hallow app on their smartphones and digital devices during our Breakfast Kick-off event on Sunday, December 3rd following the 9:30 AM Mass.

We also welcome our youth and young adults to help serve breakfast, mingle, and clean up after event. We would love to have you help our parishioners young and old learn more about this awesome digital platform and encourage everyone to pray everyday during Advent and beyond!

We are recruiting elves to help spread holiday cheer with Santa, help parents shop for their kiddos, hang out with the littles in the nursery, make crats, load gifts and food into cars, wrap presents, and so much more!

Families are welcome to volunteer together. Minimum age to volunteer is 8 years old when accompanied by parent. We will need several adult volunteers to help facilitate youth group volunteers. Learn more here.

Please pray for middle school teacher Lilly Forth as she prepares for the birth of her first child with husband Nolan. | Please pray for the young siblings of some of our students who are struggling with RSV or other serious illnesses. Pray especially for those who have been hospitalized.
