September is Attendance Awareness Month

Attendance Awareness Month takes place to spread awareness regarding why maintaining attendance in school and college is essential for academic success. Apart from the fact that missing classes can place a student behind in their coursework, absenteeism also affects assignments and grades.

Does your child have Academy Award Attendance?

Starting this week, students will earn a weekly Attendance Academy Award to dress out-of-uniform on Fridays! (See below)

To qualify, students must:

Be present
Be On-Time
No early dismissals

Students may not be dropped off prior to 7:40 a.m.

Student Breakfast in Classroom

8:00 Instructional Time

8:05 Tardy

2:50 Car Pool Dismissal

3:00 Van Dismissal; Car Pool students will dismiss through the car pool line only.

Parents are not allowed to walk up to pick up students from carpool.

3: 00 Walker Dismissal

Please be reminded that no supervision is provided for students who are dropped off before 7:40 a.m. Students should not be dropped off early. Teachers are not on duty until 7:40 p.m.

NO EARLY DISMISSAL AFTER 2:00 PM

All students should be picked up by 3:15 p.m. Teachers are off duty at 3:15 p.m. We have a large number of students who are not picked up on time.

Schoology

Parents may log into Schoology at any time to review grades. You may have to delete the app and reinstall it and change your password for it to work this year.

Progress reports will be sent home on Monday, Sept. 9th.
