Santa Margarita Mid-Week Message

Good afternoon Santa Margarita Parents,

Today, Wednesday, October 2nd, your child will be bringing home an annual Impact Aid form for you to complete. This important form is used to determine the number of parent in our district who work or live on federal property, which includes Camp Pendleton.

This information has a significant impact on school and district funding. The federal government provides funds to the Oceanside Unified School District based on the results of this form. All OUSD students benefit greatly from any additional funds made available to the district.

We ask that you take the time to complete this valuable form on behalf of our school district. Please return this form as soon as possible. I am providing an incentive for any class that has a 100% return rate by tomorrow, 10/3.

This Friday, October 4th, the Single Marine Program will be running the PE Fitness Challenge with our students in TK-8th Grade. If you would like to come out to cheer on your children during this time, you are welcome to do so. Here is the schedule for the day:

8:25-9:05 Transitional Kindergarten

9:10-9:50 2nd Grade

9:55-10:35 Kindergarten

10:40-11:20 1st Grade

11:20-12:00 3rd Grade

1:00-1:40 4th/5th Grade

2:00-2:40 Middle School
