Rockets Report
November Newsletter
Principal's Post
Dear Rocket Family,
Fall is finally here! November is a time for giving thanks and pausing to reflect upon all the wonderful things in our lives. As I think about our Rocket family, the word “family” makes me ponder how our school is unique in the sense that we are truly supported by a family of people that want nothing more than to see our students flourish and reach their dreams. We have a caring community of parents, a staff with a huge heart for kids, and a school district with a multitude of resources to help meet our needs. My heart is full of gratitude each and every day because I know together, we are making a difference in the lives of our little Rockets.
I want to take this time to say thank you to YOU, Rocket family. Without your kindness, support, encouragement and confidence our school wouldn’t be as successful and joyful as it is today. Thank you for being the wonderful supporters that you are and for all you do to help others.
Thank you for entrusting your most precious possession in our care, your child. I am grateful for the beautiful, creative, joyful children that fill our classroom and hallways here at Royal Oaks Elementary School of the Arts. They fill my heart and remind me of my purpose. They are our greatest treasure and our reason for giving our all, because these kids deserve it!
I challenge you to take a few moments to reflect upon the wonderful things in your life and give gratitude where gratitude is due.
