Long Elementary School
A Note From Dr. Phillips and Dr. Koppel
It was a busy, short week of school. We greatly appreciate the wonderful attendance at our family conferences. We value the home/school partnership so much! Next week we are excited to host our annual Veterans Day Parade and breakfast. If there is rain, we will not have the parade and it will only be a breakfast for the veterans and their students. We encourage students to wear red, white, and blue on Monday.

Join us for the Families in Block event, held over two days: November 19th and November 20th. You are welcome to attend for one or both days during your child's block time!
[Click here] to view which block classes your student will have on which days, along with their block class time. While you're at Long, be sure to visit the Book Fair with your student during the 30-minute window after attending their block class. (For 3rd-graders, since their block class is at the end of the day, you can visit the Book Fair with them during the 30 minutes before their block class.) [Click here] to RSVP for the event so we can prepare activities and print visitor name tags ahead of time. (Please fill out the form separately for each child if you plan to attend for more than one student.) We look forward to seeing you on November 19th & 20th! (Please show up a little early to this event so you have enough time to sign into the office.)
