ParentSquare: Text feature, mobile app, webinar
We’re pleased so many families have registered for ParentSquare. If you haven’t yet, it’s easy to do. Go to parentsquare.com/signin and enter the email address or phone number that’s on file with your child’s school, and then follow the prompts to confirm your information and register your account.
Activate text feature
Do you want to communicate with your school and the district via text message? If yes, you need to manually turn on the text feature.* Do this in three simple steps:
Via desktop
Go to your name in the upper right corner and click “My Account”
On the left side of the screen under “SETTINGS,” click “Notification Settings”
Go to the middle of the screen under the “Text” column and select either “Instant” or “Digest”
Via app
Click on the three short horizontal lines on the top left (hamburger menu) and click “Account”
Click “Notifications”
Toggle the button to activate text notifications and select either “Instant” or “Digest”
*By enabling text messaging, you will receive alerts, codes and updates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Download the app
The majority of families use their cell phone to view school and district communications, such as emails, newsletters and social media posts. Make it even easier by downloading the ParentSquare app, where you’ll receive all communication in one place.
Training webinar
If you’d like to learn more about ParentSquare’s many features, join in on a webinar for families. A ParentSquare representative will go into detail on various aspects of the new tool as well as answer questions. If you’re unable to make the live webinar, a recording will be available for later viewing.

Congratulations 2022-23 SBLSD Coaches of the Year
Each year we recognize SBLSD Coaches of the Year for the work they do to support student success on our school sports teams. Coaches and advisors are nominated and selected by their peers, who vote in each of the following categories for those who they feel were most deserving of the honor.
Congratulations to the following coaches and advisors who received the most votes. Beside their names is one of the many reasons why they were selected!
