One of our proudest academic milestones was yet another Bodhian achieving the prestigious title of World Topper in the CAIE IGCSE examinations. This reinforces our belief in academic rigor, dedication, and the global standard of education we provide.

On the sports front, we are thrilled that the AITA No. 1 tennis player is from our school—an achievement that highlights our focus on nurturing talent beyond academics and fostering perseverance, discipline, and sportsmanship.

This year also marked several grand celebrations that brought our community together. Our Annual Day was a spectacular display of creativity and talent, while the Bodhi Sports League was a massive success, igniting the competitive spirit and camaraderie among our students and Parents.

We are also incredibly proud of our students for their dedication to social responsibility. By adopting a village and actively contributing towards its development, they have demonstrated true leadership, empathy, and a sense of service—values that are at the core of Bodhi International School.

Another significant milestone that fills us with immense pride is our successful running of IBPYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme). Being the only school in Western Rajasthan offering IBPYP is an achievement in itself, reinforcing our position as a pioneer in global education and inquiry-based learning.

The Activity: An Interactive Coding Experience

To foster teamwork and problem-solving skills, students were organized into teams. A variety of Python programming questions, carefully chosen to cover a range of concepts and difficulty levels, were displayed on the board. Each team had the opportunity to select a question, adding a layer of strategic choice to the activity.

Once a question was selected, the teams worked collaboratively to develop their solution. Their code was then projected for the entire class to see, creating a powerful platform for:

• Collaborative Problem Solving: Students worked together, combining their knowledge and skills to tackle each challenge.

• Code Demonstration and Explanation: After working on the code, the teams presented their approach, explaining their logic, the steps they took, and the reasoning behind their solution.

This dynamic Python learning activity yielded several significant benefits:

Moving Forward:

The success of this interactive session has further strengthened our commitment to incorporating engaging, hands-on activities into our Computer Science curriculum. We firmly believe that these experiences are crucial in preparing our students for future success in the ever-evolving world of technology. We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, teamwork, and coding skills demonstrated by all our Grade 8 students!

The young scientists of Grade 6 recently embarked on an exciting hands-on chemistry experiment to test the pH levels of everyday substances using universal indicator paper. This engaging activity aimed to deepen their understanding of acids, bases, and neutral substances in a fun and practical way.

Students tested a variety of household items, including lemon juice, vinegar, baking soda solution, soap, and even fruit juices, observing the fascinating colour changes that indicated their pH levels. Through this experiment, they learned how different substances can be classified as acidic, basic, or neutral based on their reactions. The students not only classified substances but also analyzed their strength on the pH scale by interpreting the indicator’s colour variations.

The activity not only reinforced their theoretical knowledge but also encouraged critical thinking and observation skills. Their enthusiasm and curiosity were evident as they discussed their findings and compared results with their peers.

Such interactive experiments continue to make science an exciting subject, fostering a spirit of inquiry and discovery among our students.

Peer learning is a powerful method for mastering mathematics, especially when preparing for examinations. It involves students learning from and with each other through discussions, problem-solving, and knowledge-sharing. Here’s why it is crucial:

This year was filled with memorable events that showcased their growth. During the Annual Function, they mesmerized everyone with their dance performances, expressing themselves with creativity and confidence. The Inquiry Day was another milestone, where they courageously came up on stage, adjusted the microphone, and shared their thoughts with clarity, showing effective communication and thinking skills.

Through these experiences, they have become inquirers, exploring new concepts with curiosity; communicators, expressing their thoughts confidently; and caring individuals, showing kindness and respect in their interactions. Scientific Inquiry: States of Matter

In science, students investigated states of matter through hands-on experiments with gel beads, fostering critical thinking and analytical reasoning. They explored viscosity by racing different liquids down a ramp and even made Dalgona coffee, observing transformations in matter through mechanical agitation. A visit to Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park allowed students to explore biodiversity and make connections with the natural world. Field Trip to Mehrangarh Fort – A Journey Through Time (Grade 5)

A field trip to Mehrangarh Fort offered Grade 5 students an exciting opportunity to step back in time and interactively explore India’s rich history. The fort is a stunning example of medieval architecture, providing a direct connection to the past. Students explored its grand halls, intricate carvings, and vast courtyards, gaining insight into the lifestyle and culture of the Marwar kingdom. As they walked through the fort’s walls, they learnt about its historical significance, from the battles it witnessed to the royal families that once lived there.

This visit helped foster an open-minded and knowledgeable approach to learning, as students began to appreciate diverse cultures and historical perspectives. The experience complemented classroom lessons on history and architecture, bringing them to life in a tangible way. Through guided tours, students expanded their vocabulary with new words related to history and architecture, such as ramparts, bastions, and imperial. The Overbooked competition, held at Jaishree Periwal School, Jaipur, was a magnificent celebration of linguistic brilliance and boundless creativity. This event provided an extraordinary platform for students to demonstrate their intellectual agility and artistic flair, engaging in a series of thought-provoking and dynamic challenges that celebrated the grandeur of language.

One of the most riveting contests, Solve it Like Sherlock Holmes, tested students’ analytical acumen and deductive reasoning as they delved into intricate mysteries, piecing together clues with the precision of a seasoned detective. In Construction of Fantoland, students’ imagination knew no bounds as they constructed elaborate, fantastical realms, weaving intricate narratives that sparked wonder and awe. Graffulicious, on the other hand, offered students the chance to express themselves through vivid, graphic storytelling, using art to convey deeper meanings and emotions.

The Puppetry competition showcased the students' ability to breathe life into inanimate characters, using voice modulation and dramatic expression to captivate audiences. Between the Covers invited participants to display their design and literary sensibilities by conceptualizing book covers that encapsulated the essence of beloved literary works. Meanwhile, Twisted Tales inspired students to reimagine and reinvent familiar fables and fairy tales, bending the boundaries of narrative to create entirely new, enthralling versions.

In Remembrail, students’ mnemonic skills were tested as they showcased their remarkable capacity to retain and recall intricate details. Transfiguration challenged them to think creatively and transform mundane objects into extraordinary artifacts, encouraging innovative thinking and out-of-the-box problem-solving. Quizard Wizard was a riveting trivia contest that demanded both breadth and depth of knowledge, as students were quizzed on an array of subjects, demonstrating their intellectual versatility.

The Open Windows event invited participants to present their worldviews through eloquent written expression, while Chansonnette gave students an outlet to compose and perform original songs, showcasing their lyrical talents and musicality. Finally, the Try Wizard competition brought all these skills together in a magical confluence of storytelling, teamwork, and creativity, as students navigated through a series of whimsica challenges in a fantastical setting.

We are thrilled to announce that our team has achieved an incredible milestone at the prestigious International English Olympiad and International GK Olympiad. This year, we proudly brought home 16 gold medals, showcasing not only the exceptional talents of our participants but also their dedication and hard work.

The International English Olympiad tested participants based on their linguistic skills, comprehension, and critical thinking, pushing them to excel in a competitive environment. Our students displayed remarkable command over the English language, securing top spots among the best from around the world.

In the International GK Olympiad, our students were challenged on their knowledge of global events, history, geography, science, and culture. Their ability to think quickly, recall crucial information, and apply their vast knowledge helped them secure gold medals in this intellectually rigorous competition.

This achievement reflects the outstanding academic foundation, discipline, and passion for learning fostered by our educators and the relentless efforts of the students. Winning 16 gold medals is a testament to their excellence, and we are incredibly proud of their success.
