Principal's Weekly Update
May 6th-10th
Dear Families,
We completed our foundation visit with the NEASC visiting team this past Tuesday. This first visit looks at operational viability. The visiting team had many positive things to say about our school community and has recommended us to take the next stage in the re-accreditation process. In October, a larger team will come in for the program visit. This visit focuses on standards that have to do with the academic program and student experience. Our faculty, staff, advisory board, and members of the community will be finalizing these reports over the summer. A final decision on our re-accreditation will come in late fall of 2024 or early winter of 2025. We will keep you updated on this process.
MAP testing begins this week. We ask you to encourage your children to put their best effort into testing. The best preparation that students can do is get a good night's sleep and eat a good breakfast. All students are welcome to stop in for free breakfast from 7:40-7:50 each morning.
Our Walk-a-thon is just two weeks away. Students can bring in their pledges on the paper form or submit electronically on the form below. This fundraiser supports all students in our school to keep tuition affordable and off-setting costs. Please help us support these efforts. We hope to see your family on the 18th!
Sincerely,
Megan dos Santos
Principal
