Spooks is our friendly St. Anthony ghost! Starting on Monday, Spooks will be hiding somewhere new every day! Whoever finds Spooks and brings him to Miss Dueñas, will get a free dress pass!
Students can only win once! So let your child know, that if they have already won a free dress pass before, to leave Spooks there for someone else to find him! We want to have so many winners!
Spooks will not be hiding in the bathrooms, faculty room, or inside of Miss Jasmine or Miss Dueñas's offices!
Good luck!!!!!

Blessing of the Animals 🐶
We’re thrilled to have Fr. George joining us for the Blessing of the Animals on Friday, October 4th! We will begin at 12:30 pm. Whether your child brings their beloved pet—real or stuffed—Fr. George will offer a special blessing for all. It’s a beautiful tradition to honor St. Francis of Assisi and celebrate the special bond we share with our pets. Don’t forget to check ClassDojo for the final details, and we look forward to seeing you there! All are welcome!
Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi (Prayer for Peace)
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

LBC Community Events 🌸
Thank you, Gonzales Family 💌
Pictured above is Josephine Gonzales and two of her children- Teresa (Class of 68) and Frank (Class of 64). All of her children are alumni of St. Anthony Parish School! They stopped by this week to bring us a fun surprise!
Josephine just celebrated her 100th birthday this past August! She used her birthday gift money to make a generous donation to us! Additionally, Josephine paints these beautiful confetti eggs to donate to our school so we can sell them! She has been doing this for many years!
This year, we are so excited to be able to sell these beautiful eggs this Saturday, October 5th, at our Little Saints Oktoberfest!
Thank you, Gonzales family for your continued love and support of our school! We appreciate you!
After School Snack Sales 🍭
We’re excited to announce that we will be starting after-school snack sales every Tuesday and Thursday! Items will vary each week, but we’ll do our best to always offer some fan favorites. Students can begin purchasing snacks at 2:45 pm, and sales will wrap up by 3:20 pm.
Since we’re just getting started, this is a fantastic opportunity for parents to earn service hours! We’re looking for 4 parent volunteers per day to help out on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. If you’re interested, please call and let Miss Jasmine know.
We also welcome donations, which can count toward service hours as well! More details to come once we’ve had a few sales. Let’s make this a fun and successful project for our students!
