2024/2025 School Day Shift
There will be an important change to our school calendar for the upcoming academic year. Because of the change in the school calendar from 180 days to 170 days.
To accommodate this change and the required instructional minutes, we will be extending the school day by 20 minutes. Beginning next year, the school day will start at 8:00 AM and conclude at 3:35 PM. We will continue to open our doors for student drop-off at 7:30 AM, with breakfast available starting at the same time.
Additionally, we will continue to have a staggered schedule with the West Campus to assist families who need to manage drop-off and pick-up at both locations.
We understand that this adjustment may require some changes to your routines, and we appreciate your flexibility and support. Our goal is to ensure a seamless transition while maintaining the highest standards of education for our students.
Staff Shout-outs
- Major Appreciation to Greg Aytes for picking up an extra day of carline duty this week. Thank you for keeping students safe.
- Huge Shout out to all of our sponsors who pulled off class/groups trips this past week. Julie Stuart, Kayce Roth, and Jimmy Bolt, we salute you!
- Big thanks to Della Peterson who has been pulling kids left and right to get them back on track to finish the year strong... or at least pulling them across the finish line. We appreciate your dedication to all students.
Student Services Information
🚨🚨🚨504/SPED Accommodation Logs and Work Samples🚨🚨🚨
All teachers must review their accommodations logs and ensure they are up to date. Accommodation logs are required for compliance and used in ARDS/504 meetings to show student progress. If you have questions about accommodations or accommodation logs, please see an administrator or SPED case manager.
You must have at least 2 work samples for each 504/SPED student per term. Those work samples need to be uploaded to the Work Sample Google Folder.
🛑Proof of work samples will be part of the checkout process at the end of the year. Please review your folder in the Work Sample Google Folder to ensure you have the correct number of work samples for all of your 504/SPED students. Please make necessary updates asap.
Update from Marketing & Communications
TBP/HPA Letterhead
- TBP/HPA Letterhead You can download as Word Document. Don’t forget to change the location information at the bottom to show your campus address. Please use this letterhead for all recommendation letters.
Operations Update - David Tecautl
Intruder Audits are expected this month. We keep getting calls about upcoming audits every month.
Auditors check on interior doors as part of their inspection. Please be reminded NOT to use door stoppers, door frame magnets or any other device that would not allow any interior door to properly close and latch. Doing so is a violation of TBP’s policy for closed doors during instructional time.
