December 2024
Principal's Corner
Every month we focus on an area of the Cub Code. December’s Cub Code focus is “Be Kind”, so here at Whitson we are going out of our way to recognize and remind students to show as much kindness as possible. Some examples we have used to teach students what kindness looks like are using kind words, teaching them to stand up for kindness if they see someone being unkind, and to look for other students who might need a friend. Keep an eye out at home to see if your child is being extra kind this month.
With that in mind, I thought I would share how very thankful, grateful, and proud I am to be the principal of Whitson Elementary School. A school filled with a caring and committed staff, wonderful students and families, in a special community.
I hope everyone has a Happy Holiday, and a safe winter break.
Go Cubs,
Todd McCauley, Whitson Principal
