PRINCIPAL LINSKI NOTES - Week of October 14, 2024
Dear ISAAC Families,
As a reminder, the marking period ends on October 25th. Please encourage your students to make the most of their study halls and Dragon Time to catch up on assignments or seek extra help. Later this month, we will be recognizing students for their academic achievements and attendance during the first quarter. We’re excited to celebrate their hard work and dedication—it’s amazing how quickly the first quarter has flown by!
A quick note for students: outside devices, such as personal computers, are not permitted in the building. Additionally, all headphones must remain in book bags throughout the day.
Thank you for your continued support!
Best regards,
Bill Linski

ISAAC Middle School: Honoring the Dr. Martin Luther King Scholar Recipients
New London, CT -ISAAC Middle School is proud to congratulate the recipients of the prestigious Dr. Martin Luther King Scholarship. Among this year's honorees are two exceptional 8th-grade students, Olivia Campbell and Mika Rosos, who have demonstrated not only academic excellence but also a commitment to community service and social justice, embodying the mission of the MLK Scholar program.
These students carry forward Dr. King's vision of a just and equitable society, and we are immensely proud of their hard work, dedication, and leadership. As we celebrate their achievements, we are reminded that Dr. King's dream lives on through the young leaders who will shape our future.
The Dr. Martin Luther King Scholarship Trust Fund annually recognizes two 8th-grade students of color from local middle schools who exemplify academic leadership and community involvement. Both honorees, along with their families, will attend the annual dinner on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Foxwoods Resort Casino.
This recognition not only honors their achievements now but also allows them to apply for the opportunity to be awarded a monetary scholarship in their senior year of high school. We congratulate Mika and Olivia on their accomplishments and look forward to witnessing their future growth as leaders.
