Drop off and Dismissal Reminders
- Please stay off of your phone in the drop off/pick up lines! Distractions lead to accidents.
- Please do not go around cars during morning drop off.
- If arriving after 8:20AM - students need to be brought into the front office and signed in.
- Please pull forward when dropping students off in the morning to eliminate traffic backing up.
- If picking up student early, please do so before 3:30 to avoid bus lanes.
We are averaging about a 15 minute dismissal! We appreciate everyone's help in getting this system running smoothly!!
*Parents, please remember to bring your Drivers License with you when picking up students - thank you!
Bus Riders
***NEW BUS BEHAVIOR MESSAGE***
The JNCISD Transportation Department has communicated new Bus Behavior Expectations and Consequences. They can be found on our district website or by clicking here.
If your student is a bus rider, please continue to remind them of their behavior while on the bus. We want to keep everyone safe. Behavior concerns on the bus are reported back to student's home campus and consequences will be given. First offenses result in a 5 day bus suspension.
Attendance Matters
Fundraiser
Thank you to all of the parents and families supporting our fundraiser! We are excited for the purchases we will be able to make for our students and staff. If you haven't already registered online, you can do so here.
All catalog sales are online.
Cookie dough can be bought online or with cash/check. Only Cookie Dough bought with cash or check needs to be written on the order form and turned in. Checks can be made out to Jim Ned Intermediate.
Our fundraiser ends Wednesday October 11th.
A few other reminders
Students have done a good job of keeping their phones off and put away during the day but we are seeing an increase in texting on Smart Watches. Please remind your student that this is the same as using their phone and they will be asked to turn it in if it becomes a problem.
If your student becomes ill or doesn't feel well during the day, please encourage them to come see Nurse Bryant. Calling/texting you to come get them does not allow Nurse Bryant to treat them or document their illness.
Dress code reminders - Please continue to reminder your students to keep within our dress code for their clothing choices and hair.
