This year's 4-H Volunteer Training focuses on making space for youth voices in all of our 4-H programs so youth can learn, grow & flourish. Adults & youth grades 6+ are invited to attend, and a light meal will be provided.

• 45 Cloverbuds & Youth exhibited 445 projects
• 19 Youth moved forward to exhibit at the State Fair and the State 4-H Horse Show
• 62 Volunteers served a total of 249 hours at Food and Corn Stands

2024 marks the 8th year Lake County 4-H'ers have partnered with the Lake County Soil and Water Conservation District to explore and protect local waterways. Youth in grades 6-10 spend six weeks building their skills as citizen scientists:

• Collecting samples and data with new tools & resources
• Connecting nature and recreation through learning
• Stewarding nature as part of a team
