Dear Julian Curtiss Families,

Thank you to everyone who took time from their busy schedule to attend the PTA fireside chat with Principal Eduardo Calderon on Wednesday, May 1st. Principal Calderon was able to speak about his background as well as share some initial plans for Julian Curtiss. Our parent community was very welcoming as always. Julian Curtiss will be in competent hands!

Our third through fifth graders are one week into SBA testing and have completed the English Language Arts section. Next week, all grades will be taking the Math components of the test. The testing process seems to be progressing well overall. Please ensure that your child brings in his/her charged district-issued Chromebook, eats a healthy breakfast, and gets some rest.

The annual District Parent Survey will be distributed next Friday, May 10th. Please take the time to complete it once it is posted. The town expects a high participation rate, and we would love to receive your feedback. Your survey responses could provide helpful information for the new principal. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this.

Lastly, please save the date for a Volunteer Thank You Breakfast on Wednesday, May 22nd at 8:15 in the cafeteria. We want to thank all of our volunteers for all that they do for us and our community!
