From our Principal
A Special Thank You to Our Ag Day Organising Committee
I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to the incredible individuals who make our Ag Day possible – our dedicated Ag Day Organizing Committee.
First and foremost, I want to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of Michelle Ruddell. For years, Michelle single-handedly shouldered the responsibility of organizing Ag Day. Her unwavering commitment and passion for this event have been instrumental in its success.
About four years ago, a dedicated team came together to share the load. This team, working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event a truly remarkable experience.
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to each member of this extraordinary committee:
Sarah Attwood
Amanda Frost
Tamsyn Williams
Carina Dickson
Michelle Ruddell
Your hard work, creativity, and dedication have made Ag Day a highlight of our school year. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a talented and committed group of individuals who share our passion for agriculture and education.
Thank you again for all that you do.
Teachers & Students
Our students have demonstrated incredible mana (pride) in their work, creating stunning exhibits that showcase the best of our rural community. They have taken kawenga (responsibility) for the care of their animals, ensuring they are healthy, well-fed, and ready to shine on Ag Day. The manaakitanga (respect) shown towards these animals is evident in the gentle handling and thoughtful preparation. It's inspiring to see our students embody these values and contribute to such a wonderful event.
Thank you to the teachers who have worked so hard to support the children.
Thank you to the parents/caregivers who have obviously supported your children at home to prepare for the day.
Thank you to the children, parents, stewards, people on the BBQ and food tent especially Charlene Cliff and Whaea Rachael who have organised the food tent. This money goes towards the school EOTC next year.
A special thanks to our Judges and stewards who are all an important part towards making our day a success.
