HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
Heavenly Father,
you entrusted your Son Jesus,
the child of Mary,
to the care of Joseph, an earthly father.
Bless all fathers
as they care for their families.
Give them strength and wisdom,
tenderness and patience.
Support them in the work they have to do,
protecting those who look to them,
as we look to you for love and salvation,
through Jesus Christ our rock and defender.

Hi Everyone,
What a crowd! Huge thankyou to Rose and the huge contingent of Year Four parents for hosting today’s Breakfast - it was amazing. So, so good to see so many dads in town and happy to be a part of this very special occasion. Many of you also stayed for the Pre-Primary assembly too which was just so much fun. What a Friday!
Last Saturday saw a lot of our children in Year Four make their First Communion, which was such a beautiful occasion. The children were delightful, and Father Tom really hit the mark with his homily, focusing just on them. What a lovely evening.
And, next week sees our final assembly for 2024. And it is our Performing Arts Assembly. This is quite special with Band, Choir, and individual performances on show. You are most welcome to swing by.
Have a great weekend. Happy Father’s Day!
Mark

✨📚 Write a Book in a Day 📚 ✨
Earlier this week, these amazing students took part in the national Write a Book in a Day challenge. Tasked with drafting, publishing and illustrating an entire book, our students worked together from 9am until 5pm. So far, these students have raised over $1400 for the Kids Cancer Project - an incredible achievement! Donations can be made to our teams through the following links:

The library is looking amazing with the beautiful art and the students have enjoyed watching themselves in the Book Week Parade movie.
Junior Chess continues next week into round 3. Many students have been away and are missing their games. I am trying to accommodate children who are away for sickness but in some circumstances, it has been impossible due to the rounds moving on. Thank you for your understanding and support of HR Chess.
Numero and Year Five Book Club are going well, and the library is as always buzzing with fun and activity.
Have a great weekend!
