Mrs. Lake's Weekly Update
November 3, 2024
Dear All Saints Families,
Every year on November 1, the Catholic Church celebrates All Saints Day. The Holy Day of Obligation is a feast day celebrating the lives of the many saints. As is tradition for All Saints Catholic School, students in third grade dressed as one of their favorite saints. These students have spent the last month researching, learning about, and preparing for this day. They all did a wonderful job with their costumes and presenting themselves to Father Matthew.

Youth Choir Starts This Week
Youth Choir is for students in grades 1 - 3 and will start this Wednesday, November 6. Students participating in this afterschool activity will get on the intercampus bus at Saint Mary's Campus and be dropped off at the entrance to Saint John's Church. There will be a quick stop at Saint John's Campus to pick up any students participating in Schola. All students will need to be picked up by a parent or guardian at the end of the practice, each Wednesday. Below is all the information including a permission slip that can be turned back into the office.
Advent calendars have gone home with families (flyer above)! Please try to sell as many calendars as possible. If you know you will not be selling your calendars, return them to either campus as soon as possible. Turn in raffle tickets and money to the office at either campus. Earn an extra volunteer hour for turning in money and tickets by November 15th.
We still need people to sign up to sell calendars at Mass! Mass sales start this upcoming weekend. You do not need Protecting God's Children for this, so it is a great opportunity to earn those volunteer hours. Calendars will go home with families who have signed up on the Thursday prior. Instructions will be included. If you have any questions, reach out to Kate Carey. Link is below:
