Please come and visit us on Tuesday, August 6th for our drop-in Meet Your Teacher event at Pick Elementary School! We ask that all students attend with their parent or guardian. Registration must be complete with required proofs of residency on file for students to be placed in a homeroom class. We hope to see you there!

• PTO will have stations in the multi-purpose room to join the Pick PTO and purchase student planners and Pick Packs.
• Sister School Note: Meet Your Teacher for younger siblings in Grades K-2 will take place at Cary Woods Elementary School on August 6th from 10:00-12:00.
  

Dear Pick Family,

We are excited and ready to welcome students back to school at PES! We can't wait to meet our new Pick Leaders and reconnect with members of the Pick Family at Meet Your Teacher on Tuesday, August 6th from 1:00 to 3:00. Please expect a phone call from your child's Homeroom Teacher on August 2nd or 5th as they call to introduce themselves. (PES does not post class homeroom rosters.)

At PES, our school culture is built on Excellence, Leadership, and Pride. We teach students about the 7 Habits of Happy Kids (based on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People) and the 8th Habit, Find Your Voice and Inspire Others to Find Theirs, as these habits are foundational life skills for success and cornerstones of our character education program. This year's theme, Pick Leaders Rock, will offer fun and engaging activities to inspire students as we are rocking and rolling with leading and learning during this 24-25 academic year!

Please ensure all enrollment and registration steps are complete in order for your child to be placed in a homeroom.

If you preordered a school supply kit, it will be ready and waiting for its Pick Leader at his or her desk on Meet Your Teacher night.
