PATRIOT'S PEN ESSAY WINNERS
Sheridan Middle School students won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Patriot's Pen Essay Contest that was held back in October.
1st Place - Lily Johnson
2nd Place - Chelsey Spann
3rd Place - Halli Walthall
We also had a teacher - Shelly Davis - who was nominated and won 2nd place. Student essays will go on to the regional level.
FRIDAY ASSEMBLY
In an assembly on Friday, students and teachers gathered to celebrate the Chess Club, Choir, Quiz Bowl, Band, Patriot's Pen Essay Contest Winner's and Positive Office Referral Winners . We are proud of these students and all of their hard work.
HOLIDAY DRESS UP DAYS
Have some fun as we count down to Christmas Break with these themed dress up days. Students may NOT wear pajamas on any dress up days. NO hats unless explicitly included in the day's theme.
SMS SPELLING BEE PARTICIPANTS
A practice meeting will be held for all participants during RTI/Jacket Time on Tuesday, December 17th in the Library.

NOVEMBER WINNERS
SURVEY OF MILITARY FAMILIES
The Arkansas Council for Military Children surveys military families in Arkansas annually to assess areas of need and to determine the general level of awareness of resources available to military families. The survey is completely anonymous; no personally identifiable information will be collected. The survey will be open to receive responses through February 14, 2025.
