Panther PALS
What an amazing start to the new school year! The past three days have been the most successful transitions for all our students and teachers, because of our amazing Panther Volunteers! THey supported with student transitions from our gates to the classrooms lines. This helped greatly with our students who faced that initial anxiety of day 1. We will be working on ways to extend this leadership opportunity to provide some other activities throughout the year!
Lunch Tables in the News
The lunch tables have been assigned by class this year during our lunch times since we have fewer Noon Yard Supervisors to support our supervision. The assigned tables help us with monitoring the trash, noise level, movement, and interactions between our students. We will be looking for ways to reward class groups with incentives for keeping their areas clean and for modeling safe, responsible behavior at the lunch tables as part of our PBIS program.
We plan on continuing with the lunch table assignments for the year. Students eat with their class for 15-20 minutes ( 4 times weekly) and then have between 25-30 minutes to play. Students continue have opportunities to extend new relationships and socialize during their brief lunch with peers.
Students who choose to eat during recess have a choice of sitting at whichever table they prefer. Wednesday will also be an 'open table' day since we have a reduced numbers of students who sit and eat a brunch. Each class has a set of 4 tables to sit at.
If you are available to volunteer to support our lunch times we could use your help!

Attendance Matters - Please plan accordingly so your child attends school
Did you know?
Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school—and themselves. Start building this habit in preschool so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Eventually good attendance will be a skill that will help them succeed in high school and college.

TK & Kinder
Parents of TK and K students: Please continue walking your students to the Gate and let them enter to join their classmates on their own. We have had a seamless transition with our Panther PALS supporting at the gates.
Do not park in the curbside drop off area. TK/K parents will need to park in the lot and walk with students if the students can not unload from the car by themselves.
*** As a reminder no photographs or video may not be taken from the sidewalk of students on site. All students have a reasonable right to privacy while attending school.

Please ensure that you have pre-arranged volunteer times with the teacher or coordinator of the activity before arriving on campus.
Volunteers who work five hours or more per week must complete the required Keenan Trainings, a TB test, and obtain a fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigations. Volunteers are responsible for all associated costs.
Volunteers who work less than five hours per week must complete the required Keenan Trainings. Please note that volunteers must have all their documents ready to load prior to initiating the Raptor application process
