Principal's Message
Dear Middle School Families,
As we approach the end of another school year, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your support throughout the year. Your dedication to your children's education is truly inspiring, and it has been a pleasure collaborating with you to create a positive and enriching learning environment for our middle schoolers.
A special thank you goes to our incredible PTO and its dedicated executive board. Your tireless efforts in organizing events, fundraising, and volunteering have made a significant impact on our school. From providing classroom resources to enriching student experiences, your contributions are invaluable.
This year has been a truly special one for me. Serving as your Principal has been an honor, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such amazing students, teachers, and families. Your passion and commitment to our school community make a world of difference.
We have a number of end of the year events planned in the coming days to celebrate our students and our 8th graders as they transition into high school. Details about these events are outlined in this newsletter. This newsletter also contains some important information to assist you and your student with their transition to their next grade.
I wish you all a safe and relaxing summer break. We look forward to welcoming you back for another exciting year in the fall!
Sincerely,
Mr. Kevin L. Freeman Sr.
Principal
8th Grade Clap Out
Our annual 8th grade clap out celebration will take place on Thursday, May 23, 2024 beginning at 1:45 pm. This is an annual tradition that allows us to celebrate our 8th grade students and their families as they transition into high school.
We are asking families to arrive on campus at 1:45 pm and assemble themselves along the sidewalk from the high school stadium entrance down the long pathway that leads to the middle school. The parent clap out line should begin at the stadium entrance. Your students will pass by and enter the stadium through the main entrance. Eighth grade students will assemble themselves on the football field along the home sideline. Once we are assembled, a congratulatory announcement will be made and students will be released for pictures and dismissal.
Parking
As you are already aware, parking on campus during the school day is limited. Our high school stadium parking lot should have lots of open parking spaces due to our seniors graduating.
Thank you
It has been an honor to serve you and your student(s). Thank you for your support and we wish you all the best for your high school journey.
