We were delighted to celebrate Mr. Mills and Mr. Fernandez on National Custodian Day, October 2, 2024. Both work really hard to keep our school building sparkling clean and well-organized.

As the students reminded them in dozens of handwritten notes (just a small number of which are pictured here), we are so fortunate that they are part of the 14th Street School community!

Weekly Ram Award Winners

Every Friday we randomly select a prize winner (one per class) from among the students who received a Ram award that week for being a responsible worker, acting respectfully, having a mighty positive attitude, and/or staying safe. Selected students get to choose a small toy, bring in an item for Show and Tell, read to a class, help Mr. Deane, eat lunch with a friend, or (my personal favorite) eat lunch with me.

Gentle Reminders

Costumes are encouraged at the Fall Jubilee (I have mine!) but should not be worn to school on Halloween.
The speed limit in the drop off circle is 15 mph. Please exercise care when pulling up to the curb near other vehicles and do not pass a parked school bus under any circumstances.
Please check with your student's teacher before sending in food for the class (including birthday treats).
Every teacher has their own rules regarding toys from home. If you're not sure what the rules in your student's classroom are, please ask the teacher and reinforce them with your student.
