Holy Redeemer Coffee Fundraiser
Holy Redeemer parent council is running a fundraiser to raise money for the replacement of the yellow playground. The PAC has partnered with a local coffee roaster to make Holy Redeemer its own custom roasts.
The coffee is whole bean and available in 3 roasts, medium, dark and decaf, $20.00 per 400g bag.
The coffee makes great gifts for friends and family. The fundraiser will run till November 1st. The coffee will be available shortly after that and will be able to be picked up at the school. If you are selling the coffee to friends and family it is asked that you collect the funds from them and send it all in one lump sum to the email address on the order form.
Please attach your students name and grade in the etransfer notes.
Tracking is important to ensure the orders are correct so please return the order forms completed to the school office so we can do a count and place the order.
Thank you for your support,

Thank you to everyone who came to Holy Redeemer and read to our students
Dear Holy Redeemer Parents,
As a school community duing the week of Cathollic Education week - October 21st-25th, Holy Redeemer will be ringing bells at 12:00 and praying the Angelus prayer together as a school community.
You are welcome to join in this prayer at 12:00 no matter where you are.
Why will we do this?
Prayer is at the heart of the Christian life. It opens us to the presence and activity of God in our lives and helps us to discern and follow the will of God. A prayer of particular significance within the Christian Tradition is The Angelus Prayer.
The Angelus is an ancient prayer recalling the events of the Annunciation, when the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would conceive by the Holy Spirit and become the mother of God. The prayer honours Mary’s great ‘yes’ to God; offered humbly, faithfully and obediently. Through this prayer we reflect upon and celebrate the great mystery of God sharing in our humanity, becoming one of us in the person of Jesus.
The Angelus is usually said at noon each day. Bells are customarily rung to encourage people to stop what they are working on, if only for a few moments, and reflect upon God’s gifts to us and our own ‘yes’ to God.
All Catholic schools in Alberta and the Northwest Territories invite all to join in and pause each day for a few moments to pray to the Angelus. It is impactful to think of students across the province and territory taking a few moments at noon to pray the Angelus each day as it will be a wonderful act of solidarity and communion.
Please see the Angelus prayer below if you wish to join in at 12:00 each day no matter where you are to pray with us.
Blessings,
Mrs. McMaster
