Happy Friday!

Thank you to all of the families that joined us for conferences this week. Building a strong home/school connection is so important to ensure our students' success!

In the next few weeks, we have three big events coming up! First, I want to make sure everyone knows that that our book fair will take place next week from Monday to Wednesday. On Tuesday, March 3rd, we will host our family literacy night from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

On Friday, March 7th, our PTA is hosting their Spring Gala. It is their biggest fundraiser of the year. This year's theme is a Casino Night and it should be a blast! Tickets are still available. I hope to see you there!

Finally, on Wednesday March 12th, the district will host our first ever Henking/Hoffman STEM Night at Springman from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.

Hey Hoffman families, we need your help! The 5Essentials survey is now open and we’d love to hear from you! This survey helps us gain a better understanding of how our families feel about the climate and culture at our school. We’d like to hear your feedback so we can continue to make our school the best it can be! The survey will be open until March 28 so you may see a few reminders between now and that time. Thank you for your help in making our school great!

Food trucks, book fair, families, and teacher-led literacy activity stations!! Join our Hoffman community's Family Literacy Night from 5:30pm - 7:00pm on Tuesday, March 4. All family and friends are welcome to join.

Teacher-led activity stations are free! Come and play word games, create bookmarks and comics, see the constellations and hear their stories, and much more!

Dinner? We've got you covered! An empanada food truck and Kona Ice will be on site for purchases, with open seating in the cafeteria available for seating and eating.

Get ready for an interactive, hands-on STEM adventure! Our first STEM Night will be held at Springman, supporting the Hoffman/Henking community on March 12 from 5:30 p.m to 7:00 p.m. If you haven't already, please take the time to reserve a spot for your family on Powerschool. With limited space, registration will be required to ensure every family gets the opportunity to engage in these exciting learning experiences. Please join us for this amazing experience!

Hoffman Book Fair 2025

The upcoming Hoffman Book Fair will be held in the Hoffman Gym from March 3-5. Here is what to expect that week!

Monday, March 3

• During school: Students preview books and create wishlists with their classes (no purchases)
• After school: Open for purchases 2:45 PM - 6:00 PM

Tuesday, March 4

• Open all day: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Students can shop during school hours
• Special Event: Literacy Night 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Wednesday, March 5

• Open 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Students can shop during school hours
