We have some exciting news regarding our district’s TK program! Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, PUSD Transitional Kindergarten will be a full-day program.

The range of age-eligibility will also expand - children who turn four-years-old on or before September 1, 2025, will be age-eligible for TK. (Students who turn five-years-old on or before September 1, 2025 will be age-eligible for Kindergarten). Enrollment for TK for 2025-26 school year opens on April 1, 2025. Please feel free to share this news with your friends and neighbors who have children in this age range.

Here are some important information that may pertain to your family:

Transfer window for 2025-26 school year will close on March 31, 2025 at 5 p.m.

If you live within the Poway Unified boundaries and want your child to attend a school different than your assigned school, submit your request online through the Transfers page on the PUSD website. (This includes siblings of current students.) Please make sure to still enroll your child at their assigned school of residence when new student enrollment opens on April 1, 2025. Transfer requests can only be processed once your child is enrolled in their school of residence.

Talent Show on Thursday, March 20th 5-7pm

We look forward to seeing you at our school's Talent Show this Thursday, March 20th from 5-7pm! Our Wildcat performers and stage crews have been working hard for weeks. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase during intermission. Donations at the door to support the school are greatly appreciated!

Save the Date: Spring Multicultural and Art Night on Friday, April 11th

Save the date for our Spring Multicultural and Art Night on Friday, April 11th from 5:30-7pm. The event will be held inside the MPR and outside on the blacktop. We are looking for ambassadors who would like to represent a country during the event. PAWs provides the table, poster board and a small stipend for food/drink samples and you can get creative as you want with props, etc. It's a great opportunity to teach our Wildcats about other cultures. Save the Date: Spring Book Fair April 7-11

Join us for our annual Spring Book Fair with Literati from April 7-11. All TK-5 students will visit the Book Fair with their class during their usual Library time to browse the selection of books, journals and school supplies available to purchase. We need volunteers to guide students with their selections and to staff the cash registers. No experience needed! Hope to see you there as we support our young readers and foster a love for books.
