Hello Corvallis Community,
This week has two 1:30 dismissal days, Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday is a professional development day for our teachers. We have a new social studies program to better serve our students.
If your child tells you they have no homework, they are forgetting that reading for 20-30 minutes every night is almost ALWAYS their homework. Homework is a way for students to practice skills they already have at home or complete assignments they did not finish in class. Not every teacher adds additional homework for students. Please note that all classes are run differently. Please speak with your child's teacher if you have questions about their class.
Family Literacy Night with the Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon! If you don't like reading you just haven't found the right book yet. It's out there. Keep searching!

We need more PTA members! We've all enjoyed the events this year. In order for these events to keep happening we need new and more PTA members. Worried about your language skills?
