Molnar's Community Update
August 30, 2024

Comet Nation,
#COMETCOMMUNITY INFORMATION NIGHT
You won't want to miss this upcoming #CometCommunity Information Night on Wednesday, October 16th from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the Steele Creative Learning Center.
Assistant Superintendent Sarah Walker and Technology Innovation Specialist Amanda Sears will be presenting on "AI Uncovered: A Community Introduction". This information night will be a good way to learn more about AI as it continues to grow in popularity.
We hope you will come learn more about AI and ask questions to have a better understanding. This event is open to parents/guardians and community members. It will not be live-streamed, so please make plans to attend!
REMINDER - STOP BY THE WERK WAGON TONIGHT
Stop by tonight to check out Toolkit Technologies interactive Werk Wagon at Marion L. Steele to preview and interact with examples of new equipment that will be purchased. The Werk Wagon is a great way to showcase to our community the new equipment and technology that we will be adding to our Robotics and Automation program. We encourage everyone and anyone to come check it out during conferences on October 10th from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. in the Steele parking lot. Special Guest Comet Man will be there to greet guests between 3:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. We also are excited to welcome Jeff Reidel from WKYC to the Werk Wagon at 3:30 P.M. Jeff will be recording a story on our grant, program, and new technology to be aired on the news. It's going to be a fun night!
Just a reminder that this is for everyone in the community, not just for our Steele students and their families, so make plans to come check it out. To learn more, watch the video below!
COMETSLIVE! will run a year-round fundraiser where you can give a COMET SHOUTOUT to your favorite Comet for just $10 during a live broadcast. All proceeds from the SHOUTOUTS will go directly to COMETSLIVE! students for advanced training to improve our broadcasts. We hope you will consider supporting them in this fundraiser throughout the school year!
25th Annual Skeleton Run
