It’s a great day at RVA!!!

As a reminder, testing season is underway! If your RVA Owl scholar is scheduled to take an SOL test at Henderson Middle School, please remember to bring your scholar to Door 6 on your designated testing day. Door 6 is located near the bus loop on the right side of the school. Do not report to the main office. Our team will be available at Door 6 to check your scholar in. Check in begins at 9am and closes at 9:30am. Pick up is also at Door 6 and is between 12noon and 12:30pm. Parents will be contacted directly if your child finishes the test early or needs additional time. If you have any questions or concerns, please refer to the previously sent Testing Letters, reach out to your child's teacher, or connect with our site testing coordinators, Mrs. Tiffany Lindfors (tlindfors@rvaschools.net) and Mrs. Melinda Brooks (mbrooks4@rvaschools.net). • May 13-Make Up SOL Testing Day
• May 14-Grade 4 Virginia Studies SOL test
• May 15-Grades 3 Reading SOL test, Grade 4 Reading SOL test
• May 16-Grade 4 Math SOL test, Grade 5 Math SOL test
• May 17-Grade 3 Math SOL test, Grade 5 Science SOL test
• May 26 - RPS Closed - Memorial Day
• May 29-RVA Graduation Ceremony at VUU Living & Learning Center (6pm)
• May 30-RVA Moving On Ceremony for K, 5th, & 8th Grade (see flyer below)
• May 31- Last Day of School & End of Year Celebration (see flyer below)
• May 31- Last Day of School for Students and Teachers

Summer School at RPS is held in person only. Virtual Scholars planning to attend summer school will need to report to the summer school location assigned to their zoned school based on their current address. Summer school letters have been mailed out to all families. Please connect with your child's teacher if you did not receive a summer school letter and wish to have your child signed up.
